Dictionary.com defines sexual intercourse as "Sexual union between a male and a female involving insertion of the penis into the vagina." or " Sexual union between humans involving genital contact other than vaginal penetration by the penis." With a growing homosexual population, the latter defition applies in many more situations than it once did but the former is probably the most common form of sexual intercourse.
