My 5 Favorite Internet Animal Celebrities

They say the Internet is only good for a few things, and watching cat videos ranks highly among them. Now, I don’t spend all my time glued to YouTube to see what cats are doing next, but I have enjoyed my fair share of videos featuring beautiful felines — and canines! In fact, some have left an indelible mark on me, thanks to their boisterous personalities, gorgeous faces and amusing owners.

And I want to share my favorites with you, dear reader!

Lil Bub

I don’t know when I first discovered Lil Bub, but I am not putting things lightly when I say that my life has changed for the better since that point in time. Bub is an adorable girl who’s also disabled in her own ways, which lends to her unique look. However, she’s always chipped, loves traveling with her tattooed Dude and helps raise money for other animals. I’ve purchased a whole two apps in my life time, and one of them was Bub’s add-on for Weather Kitty. Review here.

Stop by Bub’s Facebook page to check out her photos, videos and cooperation with others!

David Bowie the Dog

DBtD is one of my newest finds. DB is a Shiba Inu who is adorable and loves bacon, but I think was really gets me is the cleverness of DB’s owners, who posted captions like the following:

The early light of morningOffers a wondrous possibilityA glorious bounty TodayWill there be bacon?

Chago the Trampoline Dog

I don’t know how I missed this gorgeous boxer pup jumping on a trampoline — considering as he’s been posted for eight years! But I first saw him the other day, and now I am hooked. I gleefully gave a real-time description of this dog last night to one of my friends and couldn’t contain my excitement! I can’t embed the video, but you can join 3.2 million other viewers to see Chago in his video.

Colonel Meow

Col. Meow has since departed us for the big cat palace in the sky. May he RIP. His unforgettable face always seemed to be set in a stern visage, like in this photo. Ann Marie, his human, still updates his Facebook page with photos of her other lovelies, however.

Oscar

Oscar received leg/foot implants many years ago, before the practice became more common. The cute black kitty — who looks a bit like my Goliath —  became able to run and jump like a normal cat thanks to his implants, which were designed to allow him to move like a real cat. Check out his video below:

Who are your favorite Internet celeb animals? Maybe I’ll add them to my list!
