Gov’t Conspiracy!
April 26th, 2006 Posted 9:00 pm
I’ve uploaded a new song for you to download here.
Did you know that my favourite park in all of Wausau is one without swings? How can that be, you ask?! Simple: it has a great view. I love that little park which overlooks the Wisconsin river, of of Stuart Avenue. I can’t recall the name but it’s such a nice place to stop.
I took a walk today for, what else, food. It might be silly but there’s nothing material which comes close to bringing me the pleasure that Mt Dew and bourbon chicken do. I just appreciate rich tastes, I think.
On my way I stopped at said park. The girl leaning against the brown poll and sitting on the short, stone wall whose stones had had the vision of wooden grains in her stocking feet because her boots were kicked off several feet away, was me. It was delightful.
It’s such a beautiful day today and I long to be out while the sun shines, to take walks and go places and spend time with people and laugh and smile and be in touch with nature rather than locked in this prison, my bedroom, all the time. Alas, damned third shift!
But as time progressed, June is coming sooner. Ashley and I packed up a box of her stuff and I’ll add more to that so that, when the lease is up, Wendy and I won’t have much to pack up besides our stuff. We could probably make due with paper plates and plastic cups, even, to make it easier. Hey, that’s a good idea!
Speaking of Wendy – I miss her. I miss my fun, silly, childish, cute Wenny the wainbow wemur. -sigh* Moving in with people, is not such a good idea. First because my friends don’t make the best roommates and secondly because it’s so difficult to be mean to them when need be and last, because I’m always looking for someone to blame, someone with whom I can be angry and I take this out on my friends-become-roommates. I don’t know who’s right anymore, or even if anyone should be right.
I hope after this is all done, we can go back to being good friends because I am most certain she’s avoiding me. I knocked on her door to ask her to pay the bills, and she did so as I was rummaging in my room for stamps and I came back to her door shut tightly and the checks on the table.
I missed the mailman and ran out of stamps, anyway. Than I took a quick walk to the grocery store to buy stamps (I had to buy something else to get cash back first, anyway) and their stamp machine is broken! A fine time, I tell you. But browing the USPS web site I found some reaaaallly cute stamps: here and here. I’ll have to buy stamps from the machine at work tonight to mail our bills in, sort of , on time but I can buy these for later.
It is sleepy time soon!
Major Updates
March 4th, 2006 Posted 2:48 pm
hearing: Some country song
feeling: Tired but ambitious
The first major update is that I have renamed Canadia to Hockeyland USA. Canadians will now be known as Hockeylandics. Anyone who has any problem with this decision will be beheaded by me, Tsarina Cole the Terribly Great of Hockleyland USA. Actually, I’m not from Hockeyland USA but since I renamed it, I decided to appoint myself the new ruler. Prime Minister what? In all seriousness, now you Hockeylandics can’t insult Americans because you are officially apart of the USA! Ha!
On a truly serious note, I’m pretty happy with my most recent purchase: a new vacuum. It was $15 cheaper than the piece of shit I was using which had been a housewarming present from Mom and Tim and is about 15 times better, too. It sucks, in a good way. I picked up and vacuumed the living room so now it’s not such a mess. Maybe it’ll spur Wendy into cleaning something. Nah, who am I kidding?!
I find, though, that I have no place to put my stuff because Ashley’s stuff is in the closet. Actually, it’s just one exercise machine but it takes up the whole damned thing and her stupid broken piece of crap fake tree is sitting in my front hall because I don’t want to waste the effort to put it in the basement. Just get the shit out of my house!
Speaking of, I could put my stuff in the basement but a) it’s too much effort b) I’d need someone’s help c) I’d just be moving it in a few months, anyway and d) there are a ton of spiders down there. Besides, the tree smelled all gross when we brought it up anyway.
Enough of that. It seems that I will be doing some work for Regeneration magazine which is really cool! Check it out!
Lastly, I’ve updated the vote link on the blog pages. (oops!) and added an affiliate. I’ll try to upload a new song for you guys to download, too.
You know what’s crazy? How I’ve deleted, literally, hundreds off e-mails from my Gmail account and I still have 1921 left! It’s unbeliebable that I could have more than that in the first place, though I do use it for all my mailing lists/Yahoo groups so I can keep up with music!
I’ve also taken on the task of typing up song lists for all my burned Cd’s, some of which are years old. It’s interesting to remember old songs I used to (and still do!) love and the ones I can’t quite recall as well. I’ve had to Google a lot of lyrics. So far I’ve typed up about 20. I knew I had some actually written down somewhere to I turned my room upside down looking for those little yellow papers only to remember I had typed them up months ago and they were already on my computer. -lol* I am such a dork!
Anyway, in that process I wound up going through a lot of my papers and while I threw many of them away, I found an article about Amanda after she died, lots of pictures of old friends and a lot of crappy, angsty poetry which I wrote when I was either a) depressed b) in love c) broken hearted or d) all of the above. I really am a pack rat and hold on to a lot of shit I don’t need. I tossed a couple of binders of school stuff which is almost 2 years old, although I’m going to keep all my French stuff because I hope to relearn it and actually use it someday.
Anyway, enough from me for now.

Still Alive
December 23rd, 2005 Posted 8:14 am
hearing: Symphony X – Masquerade
feeling: cold?
About 2 blocks from home, Ashley was turning the corner and the car skidded up to the curb, stopping just a few feet from a tree. We weren’t going all that fast but the tree was on my side of the car. Before leaving work, everyone was saying how to drive safely because it’s freezing rain because it’s right at freezing point point but Ashley must have been paying too much attention to our conversation.
Anyway, I had to pleasure of exiting the car (and slipping on my way) to push it out of the snowbank, which really wasn’t a big deal but my right leg was the one I had behind me for leverage and it slipped around 3 feet into snow. -chuckles*
Then, I slipped on the road because it was covered with ice, as I was coming back to the car. I opened the door and slipped once more, falling into the car. Luckily Ashley was so kind as to laugh at me. -g*
Anyway, we’re okay as is the car although I would’ve laughed had she totaled it as she’s put a lot of money into repairing it lately and she just replaced the battery last night.
Stupid hiccups!
November 18th, 2005 Posted 8:23 am
hearing: Sarah Mclachlan – Gloomy Sunday
feeling: Sore
wanting: Rian
My hiccups are so physical that when I hiccup, my body shakes and, for instance, if I’m trying to click a certain menu in a program, I will click something else because I jolt so much. Rawr.
My arms are quite sore from shoveling. Although I didn’t shovel the driveway, I shoveled the front sidewalk and the end of the driveway, a path to Wendy’s car door and from her car to the back porch and the back porch and steps. There wasn’t too much snow but I haven’t shoveled in a while.
Surprisingly, Wendy’s father came over and shoveled our sidewalk after the first snow. o.0 One day Wendy looked out the window and asked who was shoveling and I was all “WTF?” I thought it might’ve been the upstairs neighbour (ha! Now that’s a long shot.) but it turned out to be her dad. It’s nice but it makes me feel as though he thinks we’re incompetent. I am quite able, thank you very much, and while I may bitch about it, I think I’ll prefer to shovel my own driveway.
Still, I think he deserves a bit more than a cup of hot chocolate (which she gave him?) I’m thinking I’ll get him a gift card ($5 or $10) to some place for Christmas, but what’s a good idea? A gas station? I think that sounds nice but what do my faithful followers think, hmm?
Now that we have at least 6 inches of snow, I think it’s time to take down the Halloween decorations except – Oh wait! – they’ve covered in snow. >_< I guess I should have done it sooner then, huh? Serves me right. Wendy says the snow is supposed to melt this weekend and, if it does, I’ll take them down then. I hope I can make Wendy, Ashe or Ashley help because I really don’t want to be stuck doing it myself, especially with all the cold and snow and ice.
Speaking of snow (I cannot believe I’ve written an entire entry about it d=), last ngiht CSM Carol asked Ashley or I to go outside and help the cart stockman but we both decided to help. We get out there and there is only 1 stockman, the parking lot of full of carts and snow; he didn’t even have one side done!
So we help but you can’t push more than a few carts physically because of the snow and the cart pushing machine is rather slow and we’re loading up less than the usual 20 carts onto it because we don’t want to blow the motor. Oh, did I mention that the stockman informs us that the cart pusher is about to die any minute?
So we get a few more lines of carts in and fill up the outside cart storage area on the GM side and we do a few more lines when I decide it’s time to call it quits and tell Ashley so but, then, I see that one of the corrals is overflowing into the parking lot where people are supposed to drive and it’s to the point where it’s crossing the entire thing so I tell her to make one more line of carts and we’ll bring them in.
Sometime before our last line of carts and after we fill up the GM side, Carol comes outside to ask if the stockman was out there (No, he’s done at 11 and it’s obviously past that, lady) and to direct us to do the middle (der, we finished one side, the obvious place is the middle. Why do you feel the need to direct us?!).
Finally, we finish the last row and as we’re pushing it into the storage area, the cart pusher dies. Phew, we think, except we need it on so we can push it into the building and plug it in to charge. Arg. So, we play aorund and finally it turns on just enough so we can get it inside and plug it in. We finish that and head inside to take a break for as long as we fucking please because we’re frozen. It goes to the point that it was an effort to move my mouth to talk.
We’re taking off out coats and heading back when Carol says “How about a break?” Not once, but twice. Yes, we’re going to take a break you stupid cunt and nothing you say or do will affect it either way because it’s our choice and we’re already half an hour late for it. So we take a good 30 minute first break. d=
Later we go out and Assistant Jeff catches me and tells me associates will be out to help in half an hour. Well, when the associates go out, they just push the carts into the corals and we had cleaned up all the stray carts by the time they arrived. Besides, we were moving cart from the corrals to the storage areas. So, they come out and I go fetch the cart pusher from Ashley to move the 3 lines I’d set up and planned to go in afterword. Lo and behold, they pushed all my lines of carts back into the corrals. Rawr! -_-
Of course, we said “fuck it” and went back in for our last break, except that didn’t happen because Fernie was on break and we got a small rush. For the most part the rest of the day went well and I’m glad to be home but it’s a bit cold and I hurt. )= I’m not so looking forward to the idea of having to work with CSM Kim tomorrow night. Incompetent dolt. Ugh.
Toodles!
Odds ‘n’ Ends
October 23rd, 2005 Posted 8:51 am
hearing: A Trojan commercial
feeling: Sore & Tired
wanting: My kitty
Hasn’t been much to blog about lately. Work is work and there’s good days and bad days. I’m glad to have the Cow gone, but CSM Kim needs to be more assertive and take the initiative. The cashiers shouldn’t be the ones telling her what to do and she should make she she is “Taking care” of us before herself, as our supervisor and that includes not only breaks but keeping up busy and working as well.
I’d been having a terribly hard time to find a costume I liked. I don’t want to be just some Gothic/Dark/Evil/Princess/Renaissance/Thing; I’d rather be something which people can name. I found several online but buying clothes online can be risky because you can’t try it on and don’t know if it will fit and costumes are designed to fit a range or sizes but something which claims to be a small or a size 4-6, will generally run a little larger or smaller because of the range of sizes. So, with it being this close to Halloween I didn’t want to have to send a costume back and not recieve it in time (or only be able to get a refund because they don’t have anymore) or not be able to do a refund/exchange at all.
I found this costume I liked at work but they didn’t have my size and every place online was at least $20 more expensive. Plus, it’s made for tall people. I did find a couple other costumes I liked online but I didn’t like any of them that much and I really wanted to find something here.
Finally, Ashley and I went to Factory Card Outlet since I was having no luck anyplace else and she still needed a costume. Their costumes were okay, better than some places and the prices were decent but I didn’t see anything I liked and in my size. She bought this costume and then I had to practically beg her to go to Kmart, the only other store which might have something that we hadn’t been to.
So we stop at K-mart and head to the costumes section. They had several of each costume but there weren’t all that many and most of them were fairly trypical. However, after searhcing the racks for a bit I found this one and decided to get it. I’d seen it online and mostly I like how it looks spooky and the purplish glow around the wig. As I’m leaving the cashier tells me how all costumes will be 40% off and if I come back before today (eeps), they’ll refund me the difference. Awesome!
So we return home and try on the costumes and, to my surprise, it fits! Not only does it fit, but my boobs look great in it and I can wear my corset (well, one of them) over the dress but under the cloak and look even better. So, I have a costume and I like it, but I’ll have to buy a better wig which is still cheaper than some of the costumes out there.
Today, I was planning to take a walk up to the mall. to buy the wig and have my necklage fixed, when it opened and then up to Mom’s so I could see Floppy because I missed me kitty something awful. )= Instead, I went there after work with Tim because he said Mom had to work so I figured he could drive me back when he dropped Mom off from work.
Samantha was so cute and sleepy looking as she watched Sesame Street on TV. The animals surrounded me and, eventually, Pesky curled up on my arm/chest and I rested my head on her. Floppy plopped his fat ass down on the coffeee table and purred as I petted him and Tim said he weights 53 pounds now. O_O. Holy big kitty. He needs to go on a diet.
Penny showed up to take Mom to work and drop Samantha off at her Grandma’s and as soon as she walked in the door Samantha was telling her about Cole. Awwww. Thye had to elave shortly so Mom and Tim left it up to Samantha to decide who she wanted to ride with and eventualyl she picked Mom and Penny but she wouldn’t get dressed so they put her bunny slippers on her but then she started whining about how she wanted to “stay with Cole.” I love that kid.
Eventually, I got ready to leave with Tim because he needed to stop at the store and I walked Samantha out to the car but she started to cry because I had to leave her and wouldn’t get in the car when she said “Come on Cole.” I hate it when she cries but, hopefully, I’ll see her later this afternoon and she can help us decorate.
I’ll have to finish decorating the inside of the house tonight with Ashe and we should probably go grocery shopping and buy the food for the party. Speaking of the party, I saw both Mel and Tristan last night and invited them but I still have two invites sitting on my deck because I don’t have addresses to which mail them aaand there’s less than a week until the party. Damn. Time flies quickly.
Speaking of time flying – it’s time for me to fly.
This is Halloween
October 10th, 2005 Posted 8:50 pm
Although I didn’t get any sleep yesterday, it was fun. I stayed up after work, talking to Rian and then watching Moulin Rouge. A little into it, Ashe and her cousin Sammy showed up to decorate but first we went to Coldstone, the new ice cream place. The name reminds me of that one mechanical gargoyle from Gargoyles who used to be a real one. It’s neat because they take basic ice cream and then add ingredients, either what you specifically choose or to make a couple flavours and you watched them mix it all up. Yummy, too, but I got it all over my clothes because I was crazy tired. -chuckles*
We headed back here, with Ashe’s dad’s ladder, and tried to set up the string of bats but it turns out that our front porch is mostly vinyl siding and weird metal trim crap to which we can’t really nail, tack or staple anything. We wound up carving out the Jack O Lantern instead and, as we were doing that, Wendy showed up. It was quite a funny scene with inadequate tools until we finally decided on this curved, pointed, kinda spatula like thing, which did the trick, but we still don’t know what the hell someone would use that for. (I only have it because it’s came with Ashley. -lol*)
Mom, Tim and Piglet finally showed up (we actually just beat them home from our trip to Wal-mart, the Dollar store and a liquidator place by about 5 seconds) and Tim helped us put up the bat lights as well as strings of lights and spider webs. Piglet helped us put decorations in the ground and she helped Ashe finish her french fries. d=
She’s such a cute baby. Mom wanted to run to Trig’s to buy supper so Piglet and I walked to IGA to buy M&M’s which, she informed me, are her favourite candy and she made me run with her because the sign was getting closer. She also pointed out the moon and we said goodbye as we walked away from it on the way back.
Later in the night, she said that she “loves Cole” (and her mommy and daddy) which is the first time she’s said that. Plus, she said she wanted to watch Scooby Doo and picked it out all by herself and told mom she wanted to stay when mom said it was time to go. I miss her already. )=
I should have taken pictures, but she wasn’t wearing a very cute outfit.
About time, don’t cha think?
August 16th, 2005 Posted 12:07 pm
hearing: Garbage “Queer”
feeling: sore
wanting: Rian!
I did something today which I don’t normally do anymore: burn a CD. I really like it. Burning CD’s it sometimes such a chore because I have to find the perfect mix of songs and then the perfect order of them, but this one turned out well.
Sexy
01. Garbage – “Queer”
02. Kill Hannah – “Kennedy”
03. The Azoic – “Progression (The Strand Remix)”
04. Emiliana Torrini – “Easy”
05. Bonnie McKee – “Trouble”
06. Madonna – “Justify My Love”
07. i:scintilla – “scin”
08. New Order – “Crystal”
09. Genitorturers – “Asphyxiate”
010. Lenny Kravitz – “Lady”
011. Madonna – “Erotic (Sex Mix)”
012. Garbage – “#1 Crush”
I’m fresh out of the shower and it feels good to be clean. On my days off, I tend to be lazy and not shower as much as I’d like. I’m wearing my new bra with all its push up goodness and my boobs look huge. -l*
Haven’t been up to all that much. Sunday night, I called up Ashley and she took me grocery shopping because we had absolutely no food. Spent more money than planned but we have food and I’ve a few new things as well.
She spent the night and we played this game that I bought (Name That Tune, 80′s Edition), played some video games, watched movies and just hung out. It was very nice. I miss her. Now that she has a job she’ll have money to do stuff (and hopefully pay me back). It’ll be nice to get out of this house more.
Yesterday morning, we watched Kung Fu Master with Wendy. That has got to be the absolutely weirdest movie I have ever seen. I know it’s quite tongue in cheek and comedic, but still, it’s very strange.
Every time I look in the mirror, I want to get a haircut but I’m not sure what I want to do. I guess it’s not the cut itself about which I’m undecided but, rather, the colour. Don’t know whether I want to get regular highlights, darken my hair and then get highlights, darken the hair and then do Rogue-ish highlights in front, or do something completely different.
I think I’ll head to the mall as soon as I’m done with this and invest in some bourbon chicken (yummy) and check out a ring at Zale’s.
