Touche is a manufacturer of sex toys which uses a lot of vibrant colours like blue and pink so it was no surprise when Mystique showed up, made of sleek and bright pink silicone nestled in a black box. It looked quite nice. I really liked the idea of a cock ring which can be easily manipulated by hand so the extra piece which can be slid into the grooves around the vibrating bullet was a touch I appreciated.

The Mystique rings is just one of many sex toys for couples with a some-what stretchy silicone ring to be placed around the base of the penis, or if it fits, penis and scrotum. I liked that the bullet is vertical; it seemed like it would better hit all the right places. Unfortunately, this ring seemed a bit larger, unstretched than most, which meant it kept slipping and the bullet had to be adjusted. Of course, this also means it doesn’t really help with prolonging erection or increasing size. I found that the silicone didn’t have enough give to stretch it over the scrotum as well, unfortunately and, because it is silicone, you’ll want to use only water based lube.

Touche Mystique runs on watch batters which means pretty weak and high pitched vibrations. I like something stronger and deeper. I knew this was reading other reviews but was still a little disappointed. I found that there was a general sensation I felt during sex but it soon became overshadowed with everything else going on. It was did seem to make my husband almost vibrate, however; that was interesting. I was surprised that the watch batteries didn’t die in the first session. I’m not sure how long they will last but there is an extra set included, which is always nice. I’m not a big fan of toys which require ‘specialty’ batteries. The power switch was also a bit difficult to find, use. It seemed like you really needed to wedge a fingernail in there to turn it on. Of course, there is only one setting so you have to like or.. not.

When it comes to the finger rings, I found we just didn’t use them. There’s not always much room to maneuver during sex and, for solo time, there are toys I like a lot better. Perhaps it would be good for a warm up tickle, if you’re into that sort of thing. I guess the idea is just more novel than practical.

I believe the bullet is removable and you may want to do it if you give it a good soak. I washed the Mystique with soap and water with no harm done and, because the bullet is so tiny, didn’t really want to struggled with extracting it. There are cock rings whose bullets are much easier removed or possible even replaceable which is always a good option to have if you have specific needs, like me.

So the Mystique? Pretty much puts it all out there right away and it doesn’t really have that much Mystique. It’s well designed but probably best for those who only require light stimulation and don’t need an effective ring.
