Crazy Eights
Players: 2+
Deck: 1, no jokers
Objective: To play all the cards in one’s hand
Play: In a game of 2 players, 7 cards are dealt to each player. With 3 or more players, each player is dealt 5 cards. The remaining cards form the draw pile and one card is flipped up to create the discard pile.
Play starts with the player to the left of the dealer. In turn, each player must lay a legal card on the discard pile. A player can play a card of either the same suit or value of the card on top of the pile.
If a player has no legal cards but holds an 8, he can lay it on the discard pile and choose a suit to be played. The next player must lay a card of that suit on the discard pile.
If a player has no cards he can play, he must draw a card from the draw pile. If it is playable, he lays it down on the discard pile. If not, play moves on to the next player.
The game ends when a player uses all of the cards in his hand and he is the winner.
If the draw pile runs out, the cards from the discard pile may be shuffled and used at the draw pile. The top cards stays, creating a new discard pile.
Variations:
- Passing Turn and Drawing
- A player may draw at any time, even if he has a playable card.
- Drawing Cards
- A player must draw cards until he is able to play
- Playing an 8 of the same suit
- A player can only play an 8 of the same suit as the top card on the pile.
- Cannot choose suit when playing an 8

- Last card 2
