hearing: Lennon(music) and the wind
feeling: dirty

Just a little update. I know it’s been a while. I started reading Eragon as an illegal e-book a while ago. I figured it looked interesting and the movie looks decent, too, so it was a place to start.

While browsing through gobs and gobs of illegal e-books I took the time to download quite a few more, including much of the Narnia series. I remember reading The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe in elementary school but I’m not entirely sure we finished it. As it is a classic, I figure it doesn’t hurt to read.

We went to look for furry rodent type things at the petshop at the mall off base but they didn’t have anything so I might just find an old warehouse and steal a rat. Kidding, about that but I was a little disappointed.

We did, however, get this cute Nightmare Before Christmas clock. It’s an analog clock with Jack and Sally figures “behind” it and there legs move like a pendulum, or they would if I knew how to make them work. -l- I think I’ll make Rian take a picture so that I can show the world.

We’re slowly adding domestic type things to the place. I think that after I start working, I’ll start adding “womanly” decorative touches as the place is pretty bare as it is. That’s okay for now but, in the long run, I’ll want to spruce it up.

The weather has been rather crappy lately. It’s either drizzling rain or blowing insanely and while I don’t much mind the rain, when I hear the wind outside it makes it feel like the world is extremely desolate and lonely and makes my mood a little more blah than it otherwise might be.

I’ve been posting at forums more as of late so why don’t you waste some time with me, too? At all of these I go as anaesthetic.

hearing: the dryer
feeling: cold
wanting: sleep

Although I’m sure you already know that and if you just so happen to want to reward me for how much I rock(or just want to see some of the things which interest me), head on over to my wishlists, the links to which are located here.

There are a few things that I’d really like, however, which are not on those lists.

  • A new vacuum – let’s face it, mine sucks. Or rather, it doesn’t suck at all .I think it’s possible that it is leaving more dirt on the carpets than was there in the first place. I never understood why people swept their carpets, and now I do.
  • A stereo – now that I have a bookcase which could easily hold a stereo (and has nifty little cord holes in the back) I want one so that I can play my music loud and “in the air” because headphones aren’t always funs.
  • A furby – seriously. I wanted one of these when they first came out but I thought I was “too old.” To hell with that! If I can’t have a mogwai, then I want a furby!

I believe that I have accomplished everything I intended to do over my days off, except go driving. However, My Christmas shopping is done (mostly),
Samantha's Presents

the presents are wrapped,
Presents

my room is a bit cleaner and I put together the book shelf.
My new bookcase

I took pictures of most of these things and I’ll upload them to the computer for your viewing pleasure at a later date, probably tonight. It’s about time these entries had a little more than just text. I know how daunting it can be to see pages upon pages of only text so I’m going to put forth some effort in adding other things here, too.

Also, I’ll have the time to upload some more picture of Samantha, which I’m sure you’ll all love.

Yay! How often do I blog about what I did today. I actually started typing this up in 7th but when I was leaning over Ashe I lost it all. Oops! Anyway, woke up late, had m’mt dew, got t’school. French sucked as usual, she gave us h/w right before (or was it after?) the bell rang. Gym was not as bad as I had expected for a Wednesday. Homeroom was sucky cause Kristin and I compared our chem labs, and they didn’t look quite the same. :\ History was boring as all hell, another lecture. American Lit was okay, but I was preoccupied, and i didn’t say much. Chem was yucky. Lunch was lunch. Wanna hear about how I am “dating” 4 people? -l* No! 7th was interesting, a bit, didn’t do much chem h/w. Math was boring, but comprehendable, and that’s all that matters. Although the flies on the clock metaphor was BAD. Now I’m home, Tim drove me to Shopko so I could exchange, I got new panties. -lol* d=
My feet hurt. And I need new shoes.
