Your Daily Proclamation at Her Realm

I blame it on Texas

What do I blame on Texas? Bugs. Bugs in my house. Outside. Bugs in my cats. And now bugs on my cats? Too much for this lady to handle. Luckily, I don’t have bed bugs, at least. You know like the little rhyme: “Good night, sleep tight, don’t let the bed bugs bite”? I acutally said that to Ryan when he signed off MSN tonight and while it’s not something I really worry about, bed bugs do exist.

Granted, they’re a lot less common than they used to be in the middle ages or whatever but if you find some bugs creeping and crawling around your mattress or linens they could be bed bugs. They’re specially common in the southeastern states and places in Africa, too. The little blood suckers can be found in hotels, too, so it doesn’t hurt to check out your travel accommodations with a fine toothed comb. No one wants to deal with the rashes these bugs can leave, that’s for sure. And if you do have a nasty infestation, you can go ahead and call the people at Orkin to take care of your unwanted guests.

Needless to say, I am more than ready to move to a cooler, less bug-filled climate.

Oh goodness! I could never live in a place that had lots of bugs like that. Eww!
