It was minor work to transfer the crap I'd accumulated from Rian's laptop back over here, except for my illegal e-books, which were in a different location. >_> However, getting used ot my monitor, mouse and keyboard has been an adjustment for both of us. While I usually have my resolution set at 1024 x 768px, I had to move it up to the next setting because I am so used to how small everything looks on the laptop (which is a sucky widescreen.)
I can finally upload my new photos of me, Samantha (and Floppy!), and the great view we have from our living room window/patio door on a very clear day (scroll down to the end of this entry to view). You've probably already noticed the new cam image.
I've also made myself a few new themes for Windows, partially because the two between which I had been switching made certain things extremely difficult to see. Click the thumbnails below to see the themes. I was too lazy to change my MSN+ settings for my desktop contacts for the VNV Nation Theme and forgot to right-click so the menu settings would be more obvious with the Apoptygma Berzerk theme.
The only bad thing about having my computer back is the internet connection is shit because, I think, the router is simply plugged in and I didn't install any network or modem drivers. Still, it makes things difficult. One minute a page won't load correctly or at all and it'll be fine upon refresh yet, other times, it will stay "down" for several minutes. Ugh. It's certainly making uploading these pictures difficult.
Anyway, with that I am leaving. I am a mostly happy, if not sleepy, Cole who has her computer!
