Problems solved

Heat: I installed the air conditioner. I didn't want to because I'll have to take it out soon but at least I'll be able to get some sleep.

I finally got ahold of Becky and my date works fine for her so now I just have to find a ride.

I've a little more motivation to tackle my packing so I can stop putting that off and I can make the phone calls to various companies to cancel service after the 4th.
