Site Update!

6/30/2005

hearing: Pat Benatar
feeling: Pain in my knee because I just hit it and this heat
wanting: Rian!

The site was down for a day or two but it back and will remain that way for some time. I'm not happy with either myvaluehost or godaddy at the moment.

I added a page called 4 out of 10 under the content section.

Look for sections on sex (!) and Gothic soon.

I'll leave you with a great quote from bash.org

" The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?"

I am having one of those moments. The moments in which I cannot come to terms with my humanity and I want to cut off my skin, crawl out of it, and die. I feel the need to shed myself of the human filth, the taint, and help to end it by ending myself.

While seemingless self destructive, this is so much more. It is much more Earth productive. This is beyond me and the personal. This is so much more. This is the eye opened, the ultimate knowing and understanding of good an evil. This is my epiphany.

And it's over. I'm better now. My skin isn't crawling and I can accept my humanity, if only for the sole reason that you're cursed, too.

When I was setting up a local network (simple thin ethernet) with my neighbors, one of them asked, referring to terminators: "Do we have to have any of those predators at the ends?" Maybe he just watched too many Arnold Schwarzenegger movies.

hearing: Kill Hannah - Kennedy
feeling: I'm not sure
wanting: Rian!

I've really been a slacker with these updates, eh? I guess some stuff has been happening, but in the scheme of things very little has. Ot maybe I'm just too quick to write off events in my life. Either way, here's your update.

Ashley is almost completely out. She has a few boxes here but that's it. With this development, the house is starting to look much better. I vacuumed a bit and it's nice to be able to see the floors. I've developed a new appreciation for cleanliness, even if you can't tell from my room. d= I'm waiting on a chest and that'll give me some space to walk. I think I've given in and will be purchasing a dresser, as well. I don't really need one for clothes but I do need one for other things because I have so much crap. I should throw/give away or sell most of it. -sigh* Too much work.

Wendy is not quite moved in .She has some stuff here but I really have no idea what she's dong or when she's doing it and it's a bit annoying. She was complaining about only wanting to pay rent for the days she'll be here and the longer she takes, the less time she'll be here this month and the moe I'll wind up having to foot the bill, which isn't something I want to do, at all.

After she moves in, we'll need to set up a (hopefully wireless) connection. I wonder ifI should try that myself or just have her brother do it. I'd call Ben but he seems to be quite busy and forgetful of me. )=

Yesterday, Ashley, Wendy and myself ordered Chinese and had it delivered. It was cool because I've never done anything like that before and, in some way, it made me feel grown up and in control of my life. I'm not sure. Anyway, Wendy freaked out because I forgot to ask them to bring chopsticks, but hers were here. Dork. d=

Earlier, Ashley and I put together the entertainment center, which is a piece of crap but I think if we superglue it, it'll stay (although we wouldn't be able to take it apart in the future). It was a lot of fun and there were a lot of puns and innuendos involving screws and screwing. -chuckles* I really became sad about her moving out and I miss her, already. It's crazy how my feelings have changed but I think this move really is for our best.

Our landlords are really nice and it rocks. They, like, care about us and that says a lot, I think. Yesterday they came over to measure windows to fit us with some screens since neither of the bedrooms have them, and while Brad measured, Sheila tore out weeds from our little 'garden' thing in front. I was going to plant something but, hey, if she wants to, she can (and I save money d=). Brad was really nice and even went around to Menards and stuff right away, but he couldn't find anything so he came back to take some pictures and when they left he was all "Make sure you get some sleep." I'm sure I looked like hell, noth aving slept yet.

So I slept and woke up really early this morning. I'll have to force myself to take a nap today so that I won't be overly tired at work. I finished my Chinese and it was yummy. <3

I have decorating ideas for the living room but I don't really want to spend money -chuckles* I just bought that chest and a pretty leather corset, in which I think Rian wants to see me. And he just may. -grins* The only bad part about it, is that I'll definitely need another hand or two getting it on because there's no front busk, but it'll do it's job a little better, I think. It smells delicious!

Nevertheless, a bookshelf is a must. I think if I move all our furniture slightly to the North of the living room (which makes sense because when the couch is centered, you aren't looking at the TV straight on, anyway) and add a chair or loveseat on either side of the coffeetable, it'll give the room a cozy, square feel and then I'll have space to put a bookshelf and chair in the Southeast corner and it'll be like a psuedo-library!

Anyway, that's all I really have to say, except that I'm dreainging going to work tonight, even more than usual because of the conversation I had with the cow the other day. -scowels* Stupid farm animal..

I've had blogger open for hours. Literally. I began thinking about this post last night at work, while I was setting up a feature of washcloths. 100$ cotton, you know.

A while before I moved out, my mom's friend, Shelly, gave us a bunch of recorded from satellite VHS movies. There were, literally, hundreds of them.

You know the type; most of them will be crap either because they're old, "made for TV" specials, or just poor movies with absolutely zero Hollywood backing. There's a few good ones, classics, or even movies which Hollywood doesn't celebrate but you'd end up liking.

Thus, after going through box after box I was happy with a couple Gremlins, Muppets, and Batman movies in hand. However, I decided to check out a movie called "Blookstalkers." It sounded cheesy and I knew it would be bad, just not how bad.

It was made in the later 70's or early 80's. I forget. Some guy and his wife were going with another couple to the guys' family cabin, to which he hadn't gone in quite some time. As soon as he gets to the surrounding area, the towns people are all weird and while the producers try to make this seem suspenseful or something, I'm thinking "WTF, why is everyone a retard?"

Anyway, partway into it, Wendy comes over and we're watching the story unfold. The couples are all trying to have sex when these creatures start attacking them and kill the doll. To make a long story short? Everyone dies and the creatures turn our to be some sort of criminals who have been hiding something or something similar to that in the cabin.

Retarded movie. Worst movie I've ever seen.

So, what's the worst movie you've seen and why?

As I walked, the air was heavy and damp against my skin. I could smell that just-rained smell, wet road, a bit musty. Having a headache always raises the intensity of sound around me and it was no different this morning. My head pounded with each step and the thickness of the air was no help. I made it a point to be more awar of my senses, so it was a very sensuous walk. I noticed the sounds, felt the air, noted every different shade of brown on some old fashioned car, and was overcome by the almost-toxic post-rain scents assaulting my nose. The car was interesting but I know next to nothing about cars so I couldn't tell you any more than that.
The walk ended too soon I think. The store was cold and I was glad to be back in the warm spring air. I emerged 10 bucks poorer but with vital toilet paper! And batteries, since I forgot to replace the ones of mine which were dying, and are quite dead now.
I need to buy a fan. The air is too dense to breathe.
