Look, a baby!

Samantha’s walking now. I don’t know if she’s early developing or not but it sure seems quick. She’s crawling on my side currently. She seems to be a really intelligent baby, and I know people say that about all babies, but I’m not a baby fan at all.

People, the ask me anything form is not a search bar. -rme* You ask me a question, I receive it in my inbox. and then I answer it at a later date in my blog. I do not have any questions I want to answer. You guys are slacking so, ask me questions.

Speaking of blogs, I’m done with this only blogging once a week crap. It’s boring. And I’ve also become bored of this layout. I’m working on a new one but I have a lot of mixed feelings on it.
You guys seem to have a lot of mixed feelings on my scrollbar. There isn’t one. -smirks* I happen to like it, and it will stay as long as the layout is up. I like it because I can never scroll up with my scrolly wheel on my mouse, only down. Now, I can do both. Yay!

I’ve sent off all my financial stuff to Collins and now I must call Jack. I thin I’m giving up on IADT because of all this shit they’ve pulled. I don’t know how good of an education I would have there. So now I have to start thinking about getting money and finding a way to move. It makes me nervous. It’s all going to happen to quickly, and I’m going to be standing around wondering where all the time went.

Ugh, but I really am excited to go to college and get out of high school. It’s so petty and it makes me bitchy and mean. I dislike so many of the people there, these days, that it’s not even funny. I sometimes think I should have just graduated at semester, but what would I have done for all this time? I wouldn’t have a job if I weren’t in school.

Speaking of jobs, I think Ben and I may go into a sort of business venture together. This could benefit me in many ways, I believe. If I did make any sort of money that’d be great, and working it’d be a great experience for me as well. It’s just so hard to get a hold of him. Let me rephrase that; I don’t call people. Although, I did call him last night because I think I broke Ashe’s comp. I wonder whether or not that has been fixed.

Yay! Finally we have a snow day! I am so happy! Plus I was supposed to have a chem test today, so I was able to postpone that too. So I slept in and when I woke up everyone was outside shoveling. I guess Bill (landlord/neighbor) has wanted to snowblow the driveway so they moved Tim’s car, and got it stuck! It’s not stuck now, but I find that so funny.

Uh, yes. The site was down for a few days, but we are back up. Did you miss me? I find that doubtful. My hits have been so low. I wonder if people are able to use the javascript or if I’m losing more hits than I thought because of that?

Hmm, anyway, I’m hungry.

When was the last time you…

1. …went to the doctor? My last checkup, which was supposed to be a physical but wasn’t. It was sometime last year.

2. …went to the dentist? I don’t ever remember going, but I know I did. If that tells you anything it’s that it has been years.

3. …filled your gas tank? I don’t have a car.

4. …got enough sleep? I think I got enough last night.

5. …backed up your computer? I never do this, but every time I have problems or switch computers I wind up saving things, so it’s kinda like backing up. I remember to save fonts, tubes, brushes, and winamps skins too now. -lol*

Friday the 13th!

I guess I’ll blog so Lauren and Cody can waste time as my site during school. (=
I also got my senior pictures last night and handed them out today at school. People liked them a lot. I’ll be scanning them after a certain someone gets them. (=

In printmaking we’ve been working with Photoshop 5 on these super old Macs and I can’t stand it. Plus I was done with our assignment yesterday so I basically wasted today. I mean it’s fun an all but I want to learn someone. The program’s not hard to get around, especially with it being an older version, but I can’t do anything because we have like 5 pictures to work with.

Also 17 comments is the highest I’ve ever had. Well it’s tied with another one. Makes me sad because thats not a lot.

1. Are you superstitious?
No. Today I wore my ears and was a black kitty and didn’t even cause one person to trip or anything! -pouts* And I was pissed that they took the ladder away before I could walk under it.
2. What extremes have you heard of someone going to in the name of superstition?
My friend Heather sends of every forward she gets. She’s afraid she’ll die, be dumped, get sick etc if she doesn’t. She cannot delete them; she has to open them.
3. Believer or not, what’s your favorite superstition?

4. Do you believe in luck? If yes, do you have a lucky number/article of clothing/ritual?
I believe I may have had what is called luck. I have no lucky objects or ideas, however. I also am not going to claim I have or don’t have anything because of luck.
5. Do you believe in astrology? Why or why not?
Well sometimes my horoscope seems to be right on, but then again it’s all how you look at it, isn’t it? My sun and moon signs seem to tell a lot about me but those things are off just and often as they are on. I think it’s fun.

A: Please click here and here to read some more questions regarding this. I thought I had answered the same question before but I guess not. Anyway, you can decide your own answer as it is pretty much open to interpretation. I’m not going to run around claiming I’m not Gothic to appear more Gothic but I’m not going to tell you oh-how-Gothic I am either.

Q: instead of popups why don’t u use the main window?
The main window isn’t suitable for content: lists, tables, images. I didn’t take that into thought when making the layout like a year ago. Anyway everything except for the content always WAS a popup.

Uh.. I wasn’t serious about that spooky thing. Here’s a question I answered a few months ago about my purple layout
Q. y dont u want comments on the layout ? i love it.
A. First off, thank you. But this will take a bit of explaining. If you’ll take a look at past layouts, this is a bit uncharacteristic for me. I like it and all, but the time and effort that went into this was nothing compared to what I have previously done. That said, this layout is not that great, compared to else I’ve done and others’ work as well. It’s visible, yet I keep getting “I love this layout comments.” THat alone is annoying, but when you add in the fact that it isn’t such a great layout it’s even worse. The icing on the cake is that of course whenever I do something that I really like and shows a lot of time,effort, creativity I usually get negative comments.. IE “It’s too dark/scary/goth” Or I get something like “Well it’s just not my style” I’m a bit wishful that one day people will share my enthusiasm for efforts on my part that I am particularly fond of.

So I’m just surprised that I haven’t been seeing so many negative comments. People must be becoming smarter.

Well..

I just did a whole shitload of paperwork for financial aid. I’m waiting for mom’s pin online so we can submit my FAFSA stuff. My hand hurts; mom and Tim’s hands probably hurt too because I made them help me fill stuff out. She had to sign a lot of stuff anyway. I took a look at a bunch of the scholarships on FAFSA. Some have been eliminated and I’m working on the pertinent ones ASAP.

I called Jack from Collins and he directed me to Emily, the financial aid girl. She was sweet but her voice was so little. She sounded tiny! I’ll Fedex that stuff in as soon as I have my references and then Mom will be getting the housing stuff notarized and we’ll be good for Collins.

I called IADT and guess what? My admissions rep doesn’t even work there anymore and they failed to notify me. So here I am reassigned with no idea who my rep is, and no idea that it’s not even the same person. So I call and get some Tiffany chick who was nice and said she’d have my new rep call me. -growls* They lost a lot of my confidence with that one. It’s not professional.
Well, I’m glad you guys like the new layout. Unfortunately, my hits have dropped a lot. Hopefully they’ll go back up soon! I was expecting a lot of comments about how spooky or dark my layout is, like usual, but I didn’t get them. I must be losing my edge. d=

Feeling a little depressed. I guess the feeling’s mutual. I’m just so sick of seeing these people with all this natural talent. I believe there isn’t any natural talent that can’t be learned even better, don’t get me wrong. It just seems like these people are so quick to insult themselves in front of those of us who aren’t even half as good. =\

I don’t know if any of this is making sense. I’m willing to work for something but I don’t want to do something just because someone else did. I don’t want to follow in their shadows. I want to do something that’s me. I want to create. I want to be an artist. I want to feel the rush and be in that zone. I want to be oblivious forever. But it doesn’t work that way. There’s always an afterward. That’s when I’m no longer happy with whatever it was that I was doing.

Mer. I think I have so many sites because I’m trying to compensate for my lack of everything. I wish I could make something from scratch. I wish I could see things in my head. I wish I didn’t need guidelines.I really wish this stupid virus would go away.
